I just made one of my favorite treats to eat during this time of year. Forget the high-calorie, high-sugar pumpkin pie and Halloween candy. Try this is a low-calorie, yet satisfying dessert!
Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Spice Bars
Mix together:
1 package spice cake mix (unprepared)
1 15 oz. can pumpkin
1 cup mini chocolate chips
Bake in 9×13 pan for 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees.
Cut into 36 squares for 50 calories each (or 1 Point if you are following Weight Watchers.)
Serve – guilt-free!

Heather,
That’s a great idea. Wonder if the fat/cals would increase or decrease if you used cinnamon chips. Hmm…
Jaime – I think you are good to go with cinnamon chips! They are only 10 calories more per serving than the mini chocolate chips, (80 versus 70 calories) and both have 4g of fat per serving.
Wow these sound delicious I might have to give them a try!
Amber – the great thing about these is that they don’t taste “diet”. I made them last weekend for a bunch of boys and they loved them! I told them afterwards that they were a WW recipe!
